Well established modern practice in Surrey seeks an RVN with experience for a Lead Clinical Nurse position. This hospital is very well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy and has been refurbished to a high standard in recent years. The practice also employ the latest laparoscopic techniques and see referrals for advanced soft tissue & orthopaedic surgeries.
As a result of continued growth at the practice, my client is seeking to employ a Lead RVN to help support the Clinical Nursing Manager to ensure the highest standards of nursing care are consistently delivered to patients as well as outstanding service to clients.
The successful candidate will be joining a small team of 3 nurses and an SVN supporting 4 vets. The nursing team are also supported by two capable ANAs that are fully utilised so you’ll get to focus on being a nurse. You’ll be a great communicator, confident, ambitious and motivated, leading from the front with enthusiasm helping to empower the team. You’ll also share responsibility of ensuring that practice policies and procedures are followed as well as providing feedback and ideas on new ways of working ultimately working together with the management team to ensure the success of the practice. My client is looking for someone who has an interest in anaesthesia/theatre and Wards to help oversee these areas and always looking to improve clinical standards, look for ongoing CPD for the team, set up protocols/SOPs and always keeping up to date on best practice and new opportunities.
No nights, or on call. Weekends 1:5 Saturdays
Full time permanent position 40 hours per week, with an extensive benefits package including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays your birthday, sick pay, pension scheme, staff discounts, RCVS reg paid & excellent CPD. Salary commensurate with experience up to £32k DOE
