Are you a Head Nurse hungry for something more? My client is looking for a nurse with passion and drive to help them develop and expand their talented nurse team!
The practice is modern and has first rate facilities with 2 operating theatres, spacious consult rooms and diagnostic imaging suite which includes endoscopy, ultrasound & digital x-ray. The practice benefit from an excellent in-house lab and are able to check/test for a full range of conditions quickly and effectively.
My client is looking for a motivated and proactive nurse with good communication skills to take the lead as Clinical Nurse Manager. You’ll enjoy variety in your work and still get to spend lots of time with the animals – 4 days clinical and 1 admin day usually. There is also the opportunity to promote and run your own nurse clinics. Part of the role is to ensure that the nursing team across the business is managed as effectively as possible to support the growth of the practice. You’ll work closely with the Lead Nurses to identify areas of development needs within the nursing team to maintain a happy, efficient working environment, whilst ensuring practice policies and group policies are always adhered to. You’ll also demonstrate knowledge of the RCVS Day One Skills and Competencies, Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Nurses (on-the-job, in structured practical sessions and/or in tutorials). The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and Lead Nurses to ensure the smooth running of all clinical areas and kennels as well as liaising with other staff to ensure the practice is providing outstanding patient and client care.
Full time permanent position, Mon-Fri with shifts between 8am-7pm and 1:6 Saturdays.
