I’m looking for an enthusiastic nurse for this lovely practice a short commute from Cambridge. You’ll be joining a fab bunch of nurses offering support to a team of 5 vets.

This is a first opinion practice with great modern facilities and some state-of-the-art equipment.

The right candidate will have some experience and love dealing with people and their pets. You’ll have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine care for patients and clients. Taking the lead with nurse consults means you have the opportunity to bring your own ideas for different types of consults to the practice. As well as consulting, you’ll also have other responsibilities including managing the lab and pharmacy as well as other general nursing duties. You’ll need to be a teamplayer, have great communication skills and be organised for this role.

The practice encourage CPD and you’ll be well supported here with the opportunity to develop and grow as a nurse with funding for certificates and other benefits.

Full time permanent role, 4 day week, 1:8 weekend days with Monday following off. You’ll get a great work/life balance as there are no nights, on call or inpatient checks. No OOHs/nights

Salary commensurate with experience up to £30K, 5 weeks’ annual leave plus BHs, on-site parking, RCVS paid, in-house discounts, sick leave and more
