Are you an RVN looking for a sociable friendly team? Want to work in a practice set in beautiful surroundings?
My client is looking for an RVN who enjoys working with all kinds of people and who is passionate about animals and their care. This is a first opinion practice with a low staff turnover and 5 star reviews from their clients. The practice is busy with 4 vets and 6 nurses with support from receptionists and a practice manager. Nurses enjoy a varied role rotating between surgical nursing, inpatient care and nurse clinics. Nurses are valued and encouraged to explore their own areas of interest and the practice benefits from a nurse only consult room. The practice also plays a part in the local community working with a local charity etc. New ideas are always listened to, and the practice would love someone who would enjoy helping with clinics and with the information events they put on for clients. Although part of a group, this practice retains it’s family feel and still looks very independent.
The right candidate for this role must be a team player with good communication skills and an upbeat sociable personality. The role will involve working at the practice second surgery on occasion, some 20 mins’ drive away, although this can be flexible and usually other staff are able to swap if need be.
This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week Mon-Fri covering shifts between 8:30am – 8pm with 1:4 weekends (day times) and no on call/nights.
Salary commensurate with experience up to around £32k, Excellent annual leave & CPD, Pension scheme, on-site parking, RCVS fees paid plus more benefits
